I rewatched Voicemails for Isabelle. Funny thing, romantic comedy is the very opposite of my go-to genre, it's just hard to make it right. It usually channels me zero emotions, something is always missing from most of them, especially the latest ones. This movie tho, it's different. It hurts. It makes you laugh. But it hurts. Very interesting combination that doesn't all just fluffy sugarcoat or great romance, it's raw and painful at times. Lot of times. 100% recommend.
