@Dustyall the wars of the Achaemenid Empire encompassed atleast half the world population at the time.
This was pretty close to what you would envision.
The Mongol invasion just flatout killed more than 10% of the world population.
Yet here we are, with Russia rooting it's claim on Ukraine onto this cataclysmic event I just mentioned.
I alwayslike to entertain some outlandish ideas, but I don't see how anapocalypse would help in any way.
It would waste a lot of resources, a lot of time and I doubt you or me would survive it.
War and suffering brings war and suffering, peoplewillstart the next war no 2 generations later, difference would be them fighting with sticks and stonesover some plot of land.
Atleast in my opinion that is.
