Men ?
I’m noticing a trend where men aren't starting conversations or taking initiative. Instead of trying to get to know someone, it feels like they’re blaming past experiences on new people. Why are women the ones having to push their boundaries while men play it safe? I thought the man was supposed to pursue? It's like ok princess geez.....

It's a tough cycle. While it feels like a lack of initiative, I think many people, regardless of gender, are just experiencing massive dating burnout. Constant rejection or ghosting makes people play it safe to protect themselves. Rejection can make people feel discouraged. It feels less like a gender issue and more like a flaw in modern dating culture

I’ve noticed in general that a lot more guys are single and not chasing, myself included. Mostly comes down to always having to take the iniative, after a few years of dating you get tired of it, as you get older- you just want someone who understands that real relationships are two way things, not just a guy chasing some ‘princess’

Maybe men aren't 'playing it safe'—they’re just being selective with their energy. 📉 When the dating culture feels like a constant search for the 'greener grass' or people get bored the moment things get real, the value of the 'chase' disappears. 🛑 If society keeps pushing the idea that everyone is replaceable, you can’t be surprised when men stop wasting time, money, and effort on a game that feels rigged. 🤷♂️ If women perceive themselves as having infinite better options, this is exactly the outcome you should expect. Energy goes where it’s valued. 💯✨
