Rediscovering old music

I recently came across some of my old phones and went down a rabbit hole of being reminded of all the music I had at the time that I haven't listened to in 4+ years ever since I switched to a streaming service. I don't know there's something about rediscovering those feelings from them that are more than nostalgia but feelings of joy, wonder, and being present in the moment to say the least. Sure maybe it was from a much simpler or different time that's already gone but maybe not all of it is lost. Maybe it means being reminded of some parts of ourselves that has maybe laid dormant just as much as those songs have or that in some way we thankfully still carry some of the best parts of ourselves. Let me know if you have some songs that bring you back! What they make you think of. What they make you feel. I'll start off with mostly some remixes from an old playlist 😁 RAC - We Belong (ODESZA remix) What So Not - High You Are (Branchez remix) Sia - Big Girls Cry (ODESZA remix) Izzy Bizu - White Tiger (Hippie Sabotage Remix) Lykke Li - Little Bit (Gigamesh Remix) Big Wild - Aftergold (Instrumental) Two Door Cinema Club - Something Good Can Work For You (RAC Mix) ODESZA - Sundara Black Ice - Hymn for Disco ^ This one specifically reminds me of Dave Mateo, may he rest in peace. I think back to when I was a teenager which could be summed up by kendamas, robots, having fun, and not having a care in the world wondering what the heck is out there. I feel upbeat, warm, almost in tune with myself on a really deep level, and once again curious about the future in a good way.
