What cover song gets your blood pumping?
Cover songs. They can go either way. The less we say about puddle of mudd attempting to cover nirvana, the better. But for every bad one we have a dead souls by nine inch nails, I'm your boogie Man by white zombie, Cinnamon Girl by type o negative, burn by stabbing Westward and so many other decent choices on the table. My current favorite is the cover of Temple of love by sisters of Mercy as covered by Black veil brides and Ville Valo (VV.) yes, it's different. I've heard a lot of people complain about the upward pacing and the fact that Ville's voice almost sounds drowned out. Personally, I don't hear that. What I do hear is a song done by a band I don't actually claim to be a fan of (BVB) being made into something that is both distinguishable from the original and really fun. What is one of your favorite cover songs?
