When was the last time…

When was the last time you were TRULY present in the moment while driving with rush hour, rushing to get to work, rushing to get home, etc? 
When is the last time you allowed your mind to be calm and present, taking in the scenery around you while you are dealing with the stress of always being on the go go go?

Honestly I can't enjoy the ride to work because there are a lot of hooligans on the street and free as I drive to and from work. I have to be alert but when the traffic is slow I can enjoy the scenery but not all the time is it great scenery. I do try though

Today, on my way home.  Wasn't feeling all that good, but the sky was nice, and didn't let the traffic get to me.  I had some soothing jazz playing in the car

I have this amazing ability to get lost where ever I am because I get so lost looking at all the beautiful scenery and don't pay attention where I'm going. People often think I'm in a bad mood during car rides because I stop talking but it's because I'm too busy taking it all in
