Regret is one of the most painful things a caring human being can feel internally. Something that you did or said to someone that you regret and can’t change hurts deeply. Sometimes, apologies just feel like it doesn’t change anything. But I think almost everything has its purpose, including regret.

Having regrets, an making mistakes an wishing we cam undo certain things in our past is to improve of future is what makes us human. And these type of things also help us grow as purpose to do better and life so yes they do indeed serve a purpose and that's to teach us a lesson as well as noting we aren't perfect and that we make mistakes or say things we regret that might hurt for a while but that's apart of living an growing. :)

No, that’s definitely not okay. I don’t like injustices and unrighteousness and they’re wrong.

That’s only one perspective. I think you can choose to see it that way and choose to run with that. However, I believe there are other perspectives and possibilities.

@Carla Yes, but that perspective outweighs the others, from my experience. You might learn something from a situation. But the regret doesn't go away after.

@Alexandre It may not go away completely, but it still doesn’t mean there aren’t alternatives that are better and more true

Sometimes regret are so huge that we can never rectify them. No matter how much we apologise to our loved ones. The damage has already been done and it's permanent. There's no way to change what's been done and that regret just kills. And on top of that we have to pretend to the world that everything is alright. Everything is damn alright.. We are not even allow to take the moments and cry in pain.
