Night thoughts
"Pain of heartbroken" My heart aches with a deep and constant pain, A sorrow that seems it will never wane. For love, once strong, has withered and died, Leaving me alone, to mourn and cry. The memories we shared, now bring only tears, And the love we had, fades with passing years. The hope that once burned, now flickers and fades, Leaving me alone, to face the lonely shades. The emptiness I feel, is a weight on my soul, A heaviness that is beyond control. The pain of heartbreak, is a burden to bear, A wound that only time, can hope to repair. But even as I try, to move on with my life, The memories of you, cut like a knife. And though I know, I must find a new start, My heart still aches, and my soul is torn apart. So I will walk this road, with courage and might, And pray that someday, my heart will see the light. For though the pain of heartbreak, is a cross to bear, I know that one day, love will find me there.
