The true meaning of forgiveness is not being nice to or forgetting the things that have happened to you or by you it is just the conscious choice to longer allow some one else's or your own bad behavior to have power over you we get so consumed with hate and vengeance that it takes control over our whole life when 99.9% of the time the thing we are so focused on and the person that did it have never given it another thought it's only us that can't move past that moment and believe the rest of the world is focused on it too when they don't have clue why we are so angry all the time and about what so in the process of stoking your hatred and revenge fantasy you have let that one bad act have the power to chase everyone you tried to care for away and stifle your ability to move on and excel at any thing so you are the architect of your own demise but you can't see it because your hatred convinces you that the person that stole your twinky in kindergarten is responsible for all the choices you have made since

I will never understand the obsession with self destruction
