losing a pet
So one of my beloved pets died months ago and that wrecked me (I never cried that much for a person). I miss him all the time but I managed to just think about our happy moments together. Now, I noticed something on one of my remaining pets and I’m taking her to the vet ASAP it doesn’t look serious but it’s making me feel terrified for her I can’t shake the feeling off and I just can’t stop thinking about it. Did any of you experience this? How did you manage to keep calm cause right now I can’t sleep I’m shaky and I think I might cry 🥲

First i am sorry for your loss , please understand that because you have put so much feelings into your animal that there is a grief period . My mom died at home in her sleep . during a few months i would actually go watch my brother sleep at night to check if he was actually breathing . we all have to cope with our loss at our own pace . If it is not passing over after 6 month i would consider a therapist . even faster if you feel like it

I’m so sorry you had to compare me losing my pet to you actually losing your mom but thank you for this and I hope you feel better

I've had pets that had to be put down due to their age so I can totally understand where you are coming from. I am sorry for your loss and will be praying for you.

Aww shucks…losing pets can be so so hard. Treasure the time you have with them! When they have to go on to pet heaven, remember those good times, take time to grieve, maybe you may even need counseling especially if that pet was practically all you had for social support.

Aww. I'm sorry that's happening and that you feel so terrible. 🥺 But honestly, sometimes it's ok to not be ok. You care, and sometimes it's important to feel the way you do. As long as you don't let it devastate you. If you ever need someone to talk to, I don't mind listening. 😊
