How to determine if someone is genuinely a good person or a bad person?
A little draft is: The good person assumes good intentions in others, but has to learn not everyone has good intentions. The bad person assumes bad intentions in others, but needs to learn not everyone has bad intentions. This is derived from a few different concepts in psychology. Such as egocentricity, projection, distorted thinking. (edited)

Compare their intent to their actions, that’s all. It’s really that simple. If they say they’ll do a good thing and they do it, that’s good. If they say they’ll do a good thing and they don’t, and when called out on it if they dodge accountability, that’s bad. If they take accountability, then that’s good (up to a point). And if they say they’re going to do a bad thing, that’s bad, regardless of outcome. Maybe they lied and they were going to do the good thing all along, but they still lied. It doesn’t negate the good thing (maybe), but both things can be true.

Data is king not info. Never mind what they say, are their actions consistently good. Crossing lines and morality in one area also translates to being incoherent to virtue, like if U catch them in a lie then they probably arnt a good person all around, they may tell themselves they are, they may have certain things they do that are in alignment to help them justify such a belief, but good is good and U don't get the cred if U are simultaneously undermining good in some areas. A good person doesn't have excuses, doesn't have to cover their tracks, doesn't have to overcompensate, because theyr just simply authentically good. Ul notice that a lot of immoral people are a bit over the top, they're to sweet, theyre too generous, theyr to friendly, it's because they're trying to ensure U believe it. Good people don't try so hard coz they're not trying to convince or persuade. That's what I find anyway, I won't say too much of a good thing is a red flag, but it's certainly reason to be cautious (edited)
