Im not letting family split off anymore. Any kids i have will remain nearby. No moving away, no trying to survive on their own, a complete support network of family to help support the family. Maybe we all own the same piece of land and share a dinner table but plenty of space for sleep and personal lives. The american way of kicking kids out to live on their own might as well be sending them out to their doom. No more. Back to the family unit. No shame in living with your parents when thats the only way left to survive. Build wealth through the family instead of alone on your own back. Especially since my family are hermits who are spread out too far apart to support eachother. (edited)

Indeed. The most common variable is the fact that people feel repulsed by joint family and opt for nuclear family is that they don't want any sort of friction amongst the family members. Well, each dispute has its own category/classification, and before realizing or understanding it first, they reach the conclusion they don't wanna entertain that concept at all. Like, not everything will go their way in reality and they oughta know that. Either way, living with your family, the people you could trust more than the others out there, generally, and establishing a healthy symbiosis for yourselves can save a lot of money, so much so that you wouldn't need to be depending on the concept of capitalism. TL; DR: You need people with you when it counts the most, trust me! With our ever-changing lives with progressing modern environments, we're gonna need it the most where people have become more superficial as opposed to the olden times. (edited)
