You only exist to yourself
You are your ego, your personality, you're made up of as a result of your environment. But you only exist to yourself. People do not know what you think and how you feel all the time, and your interactions with everyone cannot be the same. To some you are annoying, to others you are quiet. To some you are kind and caring, to others you may be cruel as they only know you from one instance of weakness you had. Everyone you meet will create a version of you in their heads, but only you will have the full picture of you. To which it brings us to a more empathetic stance, I personally believe. One that reminds us we shouldn't attribute to malice what we can attribute to ignorance. I know for a fact I'm too empathetic however and have a bias towards the good will of mankind, so I attribute to ignorance even when I'm shown malice was the choice, a definitive con of mine. Almost out of a fear of confrontation only to avoid making the other person uncomfortable. Edit: yes I'm just sh1t posting (edited)
