Question

Are you the same person that you were yesterday? What about ten years ago? What about two seconds ago? Does the concept of ‘you’ include your history, or is it only the person you are right now?

It makes me think of the quote from Alice in Wonderland, "It's no use going back to yesterday because I was a different person then."

The concept of the self and how it changes or if it changes at all is so complicated. I can't even fathom how people decide that they have a fixed identity because there's something different every moment that could cause massive change.

It's a very interesting and wonderful question, and of course confusing. But I think the answer is simple. If I understood this question correctly.

If we do not consider the element of latency.

Of course, it's always now. But with one detail. It's always this moment, because of what I did in the past moments, and it's reflected in today. For example, if I did something good two seconds ago, I'm living in this moment in a good way. If I do something good now, something good will be reflected in the next moment, and that moment will be lived well. So it's always now.

That brings in a few variables. Who you were an instantaneous moment ago is not much different than who you are now, and at the same time you have the agency to influence the own precedent of your behavior.

Philosophy is intriguing, but if u understand the concept of 4th dimension being time . So as well as ur height, weight and width is covering certain amount of space according to your parental genes and availability of food in your growing days, consider ur date of birth as one point and death as the another point in this 4 dimensional time space, funny u only have control of ur body , but that body is just a stuck object inside the 4 dimensional space, 
This is the scientific viewpoint. 
So u r the same u in ur birth till ur date, only responding to stimuli and reacting according to your genetic data as well as self experience and muscle memory and fear. Only these 4 are the only reasons for ur choice rest all are lie, u tell to urself and nobody changes, change is a another myth scientifically impossible, and ur same as ur parents just updated version, give up, change is the mirage we chase, there's no change, we react to situation to gain something or to not loose something that's all... 
This idea of philosophy is materialism, and realism

The history of your past is what helped create who your are now but it shouldn't define you either.  Nobody should be the same person they were 10 years ago otherwise you haven't changed or learned anything. That's the entire point of life is to grow.
