Is it a good trait to not feel necessary for others validation?
Unlike others, I don't need others validation to have a strong belief. For instance, I know I am very intelligent and I don't need others' vote to believe that I am intelligent. But it can also be a drawback at times as you tend to underestimate everyone around you.
