Hmmm... Maybe there is some sense to that. When you say that positive and negative emotional energy can only be transferred and never destroyed that implies a conservation law: there is a finite amount of emotional energy that is conserved. I don't think its far-fetched to assume that there is a finite amount, given that there are only a finite amount of people that can feel and affect emotions. So, sure, maybe it is a conserved quantity. Could you make emotional energy from nothing? Probably not. If we are to assume emotional energy stems from biochemical and mechanical process, then they are also confined to the laws of the more general notion of energy, which itself has a conservation law.
