Philosophy should be taught in Public Schools K-12

Philosophy is important because it teaches people how to think clearly, question assumptions, and make better decisions. It matters not just in classrooms, but in everyday life, work, politics, and relationships. Philosophy helps us examine the biggest questions: What is right and wrong? What counts as knowledge? What makes a good life? These questions shape how people live, even when they are not consciously using the word “philosophy.” By learning to slow down and analyze those questions, people become less likely to accept bad arguments or shallow opinions.
