Imagine a universe designed in such a way that every after every 100 hours, everting instantly freezes for one hour, and immediately thaws at the conclusion of that hour. Imagine also that this occurs in such a way that nobody notices and there is no traceable evidence of. It happening. 1) How many hours have passed after 3 cycles of this event 2) did the event actually occur if there is no empirical evidence of it occuring 3) what does this mean for how we understand time?
