27dThere was an equation i learned along the way...
Pain + Non-Acceptance = suffering It helped me understand that accepting the pain i cannot change is actually a relief. What is the pain you are fighting? What would happen if you stop? Don't worry. Even if you choose to stop, you can pick up the fight again any time. There is no downside to trying.

Just a thought to murky the waters: Living with a chronic difficulty breathing after a couple of embolisms, and some days, every breath is a concious decision to go on figthting. With some fights, the only other option is to give up and lay down and die. And sometimes that may feel like the best option. But then there is no turning back... and who are you then? There is also the option of recognising that life is a struggle, and if you want to keep living it, you may as well learn to enjoy to put on your warpaint and pick up your battlesong and go out bleeding. Sometimes, survival, in all it s defiance, is enough to win. 🌷🇮🇷 https://youtu.be/5JqY-6q-RNA?is=BT04dFpaHXMWtDRh (edited)
