I see where your coming from, you might learn more about yourself by getting more perspectives on life. I would give you the argument and say that is not the end goal of a relationship for me. The end isn't to necessarily enrich myself, though I'm sure that will happen. It is to understand the person you love more than anyone else on the planet. From the trillions of perspectives, you understand your partners the most.

I think monogamy is possible, it's just not preferred so people choose not to do it. It's more complicated to be monogamous because of societal pressures and emotional complications. If people were more supportive of each other's ideas and flaws, and society pushed monogamy, you'd have a monogamous society lol. Interestingly enough though, the truth is that people tear each other down daily and society pushes to do whatever you want and feel, and thus well...here we are lol. Great post! 😊👍
