What is your favourite philosophical school of thought?

I find Epicureanism appealing because it encourages us to focus on our own happiness rather than seeking external validation from others. It also teaches us to appreciate simple pleasures such as friendship and conversation, rather than striving for material wealth or fame.

I'm not into religions but Buddhism is my favorite school of philosophy. It shows us how to detach from the physical stimulants and train your body and mind to truly be happy with yourself only.

Yes happiness is a quality of thought and state of mind, if we can find happiness internally first and foremost, then every bit of happiness that comes from an external source will only add to us, and never take away 😊

Objectivism because it's true.

But also, Objectivism is the only philosophy to affirm that reality is an absolute, that reason is man's means of grasping the facts of reality, and acknowledges that man is an end in himself, not the means to the ends of others.

Man is not born with any unchosen obligation. The fact of his existence does not give other men a mortgage over his life. Man needs no moral justification for his life beyond himself--beyond the fact that life, itself, is a value to him. Just as life is a value which requires no further justification; so, too, man's happiness is his own moral purpose. The purpose of ethics is not to teach men how to suffer and die, but to live and achieve their own happiness.
