Yes, this is an app to meet people or even considered as a dating app to many others. And that’s fair, since everything means different, depending on the eyes that looks at it. Nevertheless, it’s curious how few people, and I would dare to say to almost no one takes the time to read the biography descriptions here. Is it naive to hope for a real, normal, non sexual friendship in an environment like this? Or is it too much work, to read before you hit the like button? It keeps running up in my mind every time I get in here.

7I've found that the ones who clearly mention their intentions for being on here, have detailed bios, and have taken the time to write about what they are expecting and looking for from others on the app, are the ones who can hold a genuine conversation to get to know someone, before jumping to Message/ Follow without any kind of self introduction

Welcome to the internet. I always wonder why you women match with me and never respond or speak or say anything or put any type of effort in communication for a connection.. 100 to 1 rule. Better start talking to alotttttt of people. Because only 1 per 100 MIGHT be worth it. I know I am, and I know the internet is NOT a good place to genuinely meet ppl. But worth a disappointing try. But effort, nonetheless, is required by both parties if there's any chance of forming a connection
