It was my first day in Kyoto and we went to the typical tourist spots. There was this one place where it was overwhelmingly flooded with people. I broke off from my family to get some rest, and I saw this girl with a cute little PNS digicam all alone. I might have stared for too long that she noticed me. I was getting ready to apologize when she asked me about my camera. You have no idea how relieved I was to find out she wasn't upset lol. Anyway, she also spoke pretty decent english so we got to bond over our love for photography. We talked for hours. We didn't even notice the sun setting behind us. I look at my phone just tonsee I a dozen missed calls from my family. We got got caught up in our own world that I didn't even got her name. Right when I was about to, she looked at me, smiled, gave me a kiss, and said "It's been a while since I last felt comfortable talking to someone. Thank you" Then, she turned around, and walked away. I genuinely thought she just grabbed something to drink or went to the restroom but sadly that wasn't the case. Just like that, she disappeared. No name, no socials, nothing. I guess not every story end with a happy ending. (edited)
