Beyond comparison

In a world of comparisons, I find my place, Measured against others, my worth they trace. Like a fragile statue in a gallery of art, I stand, evaluated, torn apart. Comparison's grip, a relentless tide, It washes over me, leaving scars inside. With every judgment, every critical gaze, I'm forced to question my own self's ways. Oh, the weight of being compared, A burden heavy, difficult to bear. In the shadows of comparison's might, I struggle to find my own inner light. They say I'm not enough, not quite the same, Falling short in this never-ending game. But I refuse to be confined by their gaze, To let their opinions set my life ablaze. For I am unique, a rare masterpiece, With colors and talents that won't decrease. No two souls are alike, no hearts the same, In our differences, we find our truest flame. So, I'll embrace my quirks, my flaws, my grace, And let comparison fade into empty space. I'll strive to be the best version of me, Not defined by how others perceive. In this journey of life, I'll carve my own path, Unfettered by comparisons' aftermath. For I am a soul, incomparable and true, And I'll shine bright in everything I do.
