People always seek for more, Yet more isn’t always best, In the chase, we often miss, The simple things that grant us rest. We forget to pause and savor, The beauty in the now, Simple is good, simple is pure, In simplicity, we find the "how." A flower blooming in the field, Its petals soft and bright, Needs no grand adornment, To capture pure delight. A child's laughter, free and clear, A breeze that stirs the leaves, In the quiet of these moments, Our spirit finds reprieve. The stars that dot the evening sky, In their silent, distant grace, Remind us that in stillness, There's a profoundly peaceful place. We build and build and often find, Our towers made of sand, But the moments that we cherish most, Are those that gently stand. The taste of water, cool and pure, The feel of earth beneath our feet, These simple joys, so often missed, Make life profoundly sweet. So let us strive to see again, The beauty in the small, For in the heart of simple things, We find the greatest all. Simple is the melody, That echoes in our soul, Simple is the harmony, That makes our spirit whole. In the quiet and the stillness, In the spaces in between, There lies a world of wonder, In the beauty of the serene. So take a breath, embrace the now, Let go of needless strife, For in simplicity, we find, The deepest truths of life.
