The moon
I'm sitting by a lake trying not to break, i look up at the stars wish they could cover up my scars, the raindrops blend with my tears i try to hide my fears. Behind my broken screams, are hidden those shattered dreams. Despite the stormy night, the moon still shines so bright, i wish i could be like the moon then I wouldn't lose my shine so soon. (edited)
