Poem about moving to a different country

Hey souls. Got a lot of free time after moving and I continued writing. I thought why not share it. Take a look :) I'm more open to criticism than approval. Hope you enjoy it Marching towards an end, I found a new beginning. Even though I'm withering, my gaze remains clear and set, as if somewhere - beyond the horizon there is a place my eyes remember though my feet have never touched. I greet the day with great arms, listening to birds singing watching green leaves fall, while squeezing my eyes against the rising, chilly Sun— a morning that knows nothing of me. I like it this way. I stood at the mouth of the unknown and refused to call it fear... perhaps butterflies waltzed in my stomach every now and then, but I swallowed them whole and raised my glare towards an end I'm prepared for - one of many. Some doors close quietly. Others follow you... until you stop calling them doors; but the strange thing about leaving is that nothing follows you except what you couldn't carry. I left some roots beneath the soil. The wind took the rest and called it freedom. And if the road should swallow me, let it. I've spent enough years fearing the mouths of unknown things. There is no bravery in knowing the way. Courage is simply walking while the horizon keeps moving.
