My Butterfly 🦋

Just some random things I wrote in a subway of all places 😅 the writing gods possessed my hands! Where did the time go?... Where did our love go? People are so young. . . We were so young. Young and in love thinking we be together forever. . . Happy forever. How does a love that burns like the brightes fire, slowly fade away and burn out. When the fire burns low can you tend to it, reignite the flame? I often wondered these questions... Wondered how two people who loved eachother so much could just become two people. . . Two people living in the same space. No love, just an agreement to stay together and watch me. . . A product of a love died I had always feared for how i'd fare when it came to love. Scared that I wouldn't be able to love. I had been so broken, scared to open up. . . But then you came. I'll. Ever forget the first time I saw you. Your hair matched the auburn fall leaves, and your smile made my soul shiver. Everytime we talk butterflies dance in my rib cage, trying to let the words, "I love you." Out of my mouth. Everytime we touch my heart soars like a bird in the sky, I feel I may never come down. How is it that you break down my ill-conceived notion that love is fake. . . And how do you bust my walls down with the simple phrase, "It's okay." You amaze me. Inspire me. Set my heart ablaze and lighf a fire in me. I told myself i'd never love, never be a victim to cupids game, but he put me up againsg a damn good opponent. Even if I fall, knowing you, holding your hand, and being with you is enough. I'll happily bind myself to you, and be yours like I hope you are mine. 💞🤞🏽~ I love you, My Buterfly ~🤞🏽💞
