The problem with society
The problem we have always faced Is not the economy climate change division of wealth or race Those problems and the others too Stem from one thing that has always been true When those that think they know what's best for me or you The fate of the many decided by a few That's the problem it's always been the same They try to legislate in black and white For a world of gray When it comes to wrong and right The ones who determine what is what every day They have been basing that on from whom they receive their pay If you think it happens another way Tell me what a lobbiests job is that's all I have to say Why would corporations donate to a campaign If they don't get something in return use your brain How does a life long politician get rich They must be getting some kind of tips For the laws they pass They get kick backs The corruption is staring you all in the face Instead you act like other human beings a slightly different shade Are some kind different race None of us are from outerspace Division and fear is how they keep you docile They have been lying to you all the while Padding their off shore bank accounts dressing and traveling in style You and I have to struggle to feed our child When we can't who do we blame Some one who looks a little different than us but not the same This is the definition of insanity At least it is to me We won't change any thing Until we have complete unity So we can keep going with this same old insanity Or we can come together a united front of humanity
