This world holds nothing for me Ive given it more than it deserves to see Why is it my destiny To give my soul to humanity While you just feed your greed Step on who ever it takes to succeed You are such simple minded creatures it seems You dont even know how to have dreams Whatever happened to the magic of the silver screens Space ships and laser beams Movie monsters and giant themes Now its remakes and reruns no imagining Has man reached the limit of his ability If so you have no further use for me Ill just fade out and move on to a better scene I dont see the point of this society With no direction it just aimlessly Sits idle in the grand scheme What ever happened to the dream A city on a hill shinning bright and beckoning Now instead all we see Is a pale imitation of the real thing You lost the drive in the last couple centuries Forgot what this was supposed to be Disappointment is the reality No one to lead just gathering Believing security means hoarding Generational wealth is not the goal you think Raising the floor with the ceiling Is the answer you have long sought but missed completely You dont prey on the poor for security You invest in them to strengthen the weakest link Economists miss the forest for the trees Recession after recession is not forecasting Its a depression sponsored by your enemies How could you miss it in this economy We need a nation that is manufacturing Or the wealth we are just hemorrhaging Any fool with a degree Should of been able to plainly see Election cycle after election cycle fools celebrating Like they won the lottery Tell me when did responsability Become a reason for partying Thats the insanity Of this messed up reality
