1moYou Can't Ever Come Down- the Funeral Crashers
My late wife and i both had a taste for the morbid side of music. I showed her probably 100 songs, in which not everyone made it out alive. We both loved those kinds of songs. She lost her first fiancée at 19, when we met. And so we recorded one and then about 50 more. What's the worst that could happen, right? Fate can be a real MF'er... but at least I have all these beautiful songs... all a bit awkward, ironic, or unsettling... just the way we liked them! Only with added impact, and validity, as we lost her so young. Imagine her funeral... she used to "crash" funerals by volunteering as a vocalist... her repertoire was incredible! I know, we recorded most of them, and sent them out as demos. She got a lot of work! That little part of the funeral, where she would usually sing... was a 30 minute montage. Lol. The pastor seemed a little uncomfortable. "Were those all songs rhat Kari liked?" "They were all songs she and I recorded" "really? That was her singing??" "Yeah. She was weird. Nice 'n weird. Petfect."....
