is it unethical to not finish your food?
recently i went out with someone who barely ever finished the food on their plate, and somehow it made me feel really... uncomfortable. however, they personally think it's completely fine to not finish a meal if you're already full, since forcing yourself to eat can be unhealthy for your body. and now i'm questioning my own mindset :/ i'm the type of person who can't leave my meal unfinished. i always find it really hard to not finish a meal even when i'm full. because i always end up thinking, "i don't wanna waste food" 😶 maybe it's related to my upbringing, how my parents always taught me that i shouldn't waste even a single grain of rice on my plate. thankfully i eat a lot and i don't really gain weight no matter how much i eat, so i never really had any problem with finishing a meal. though i'm still curious about what other people think of this. do you think it's okay to not finish all of the food on your plate?

I think that we've been raised to think that not finishing that meal at that very point in time is a waste when in reality you have options. You can package the rest of the food and take it home to eat later. You can ask for smaller portions or make smaller portions if you know what you're personally able to finish. It's fantastic that you realized this situation made you uncomfortable and instead of immediately going after that person you sat back and asked why. There are a bunch of reasons why people were raised with phrasings like clean plate club and things like that. It is time now to realize you're allowed to listen to your body and that doesn't mean you're wasteful as long as you make the choices that ensure you aren't indeed wasting food.

Not finishing our food is alright, wasting our food is wrong 😌 That means it's alright to not finishing what we eat at that time but we can save them for later, if we are in a restaurant, we can asked them to pack it so we can eat them later again on our home or we can give them to others or if you are the type who doesn't want to give others your unfinished food because it's unethical for you then give them to the wildlife 😌

I was brought up the same way. Unfortunately I do gain weight a lot easier now that I’m older so I had to learn to either order smaller meals or take the leftovers home and eat them later. One of my goals is to go hunting so I can have a greater appreciation for the meat on my plate. I think so many people that take a bite of their food and throw the rest away would benefit from an experience like this.

Is there something wrong with me because I don't like horror?
I feel like it's extremely popular nowadays and that I'm kinda expected to like them or at least watch horror movies. But I really don't like it, it's not that it scares me, it's that it makes me uncomfortable in a certain way and I generally find it really unpleasant.
