I’ve noticed that if a conversation starts out super energetic it often quickly loses its spark on both sides Does that happen to you too?

I like to develop when it is a psychological subject, so i am going to be a little long, because I like the introspection and understanding Yes, it probably happens often, it is far more common than people realize while some might attribute it to false projection, I think it come from a wide variety of reasons, such as someone getting bored, being "unstable" or simply losing interest easily, as there are countless types of people out there, there not a single answer to that Personally, when it happens to me, it often comes down to a lack of reciprocity, specifically when I try to show interest by asking questions and the other person does not engage, or when I bring up several different topics and they ignore most of it to address only one part of the message, this can make me feel like I am bothering the other person, which leads me to put in less effort myself, because I am not someone who likes to impose or bother others I recently had this kind of experience with someone, even though I thought the vibe was not bad, I even read again all our conversations to verify if i could have said something that would have displeased her, but I see nothing. I think i was respectful from start to the end, so it is probably that we misunderstood each other, who know. I was really trying to show interest in the person, but I sometimes faced a "wall" by asking simple questions that did not get an answer and get ignored, like what she think of something for example, nothing really too personal. Perhaps she also did not like my way of analyzing things or overthinking, who knows xD I do not hold a grudge though and i wish her the best for the future, even if she deleted me overnight xD Sometimes it is just a misunderstanding on both sides, sometimes it is simply the way it is, as there is no absolute answer, so many factors and possibilities for the "why" the analysis could be endless, in addition we also live in an era where people have a hard time being consistent and always think they can find something better elsewhere, this habit of thinking that the grass is always greener on the other side and running away at the slightest difficulty instead of expressing how they feel if there something wrong and communicating is easier, but it's not the solution and so many people don't understand that 👀

I think the problem with most conversations is that people have a tendency to not listen to the other side, so they run out of things to say, but they're not really interacting to begin with, they're just talking. If both sides listen, and interact, then the conversation can keep going for hours and hours, and move from subject to subject smoothly. (edited)

No, it's a matter of how willing both are to keep talking, it doesn't have to do with how it starts. (edited)

It depends on the people, their relationships, which can change over time. It also depends on what they expect from the other person, how the conversation will unfold. This applies not only to chatting, private messages online, but also in reality, face to face during meetings. I believe it works both ways. If one person engages in the conversation, the other does the same towards the sender, the conversation can flow energetically, even over time. If not, because someone brushes us off, ignores us, as if "the ball is only going one way," then it loses its shine, all its energy. I have had and still have such situations in life, where either I brush the other person off, or while trying to engage in the conversation, the other person does absolutely nothing, makes no effort, shows no interest. Then it happens that I wonder what I did wrong, or I am a boring person, having nothing interesting to convey, or simply I am not an attractive, interesting person to the other person and vice versa.

Not if you're finding alignment and discovering common values. Energy is good, but if nothing is there... then "acceptance" becomes the lesson.

It does happen if the reason why you started talking to the other person in the first place, was out of lust, and not mutual understanding. Im an active listener, and a big downside of it is that people tend to overspeak and oversay what they want to say, and its tiresome to an extent as well. I found that if we both give each other enough rope to just talk about anything, the conversation lasts a lot longer, and some healthy flirting in it can also elongate it

Yes it does, because most of the times that energy is a false projection, a performative act to impress the other person, when it wears off, the true dull side appears.

How many of u support Judas was correct irrespective of religious beliefs That he betrayed Jesus for 30 silver coins.... Is money worth the regret that he felt later for betraying " innocent blood" of Jesus which made him to commit suicide

But didn't this led to the epic crucification of Jesus...for which he became the lord which people still worship till this date...if not the betrayal...had he been the God we r worshiping him today

What Do You Show First? Recently I’ve been checking posts from girls here, and I’ve noticed a lot of focus on attractiveness and body, but not much about personality, values, or what they actually want from life.

For me, it’s a bit of a red flag. There’s nothing wrong with feeling attractive, but if your body is mainly what you show, aren’t you mostly attracting men who value you for that? I find it much more attractive when someone knows herself, has principles, interests, and her own goals. Real... read more
