Anything that brings my mind to thr present. A cold water splash on the face...or engaging all 5 senses .... moving...humming.. I also ask myself what's wrong ...what's bothering. Because suppressing doesn't help. If I acknowledge my feelings and we both (the anxious me and the present me) can figure out why is that happening..then we come up with a solution. Also change of environment...going for a walk...and talking to a friend or someone unrelated to the issue of stress. (edited)
