Recovery
My path to recovery from depression is accompanied by fear. Fear that there will be a relapse of depression or that this is just a temporary improvement. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Yeah, I feel that as well. The first time I got diagnosed to have a mild depressive episode, I'm shocked yet not surprised at all. Then In years, my diagnosed turned into moderate level. I do wonder why it's getting worse. I blame everything on my self but feeling numbness at the same time. When I could get better yet for the couple of times, the episode awaken again. But I do believe all of that is a process. Temporary or not, everyone has their pace to get through it. You'd already did your best. You could make it!

Yes. It's true. Hope you get better. What is not unimportant, you managed to find qualified help. Medicines and therapy help a lot. Sorry for the late reply. Mentally gathering strength

@Keyda Thank you. It's good to know. I try to show at least a grain of the importance of taking care of mental health with such stories. And that the very topic of mental health should not be stigmatized.

I went from being suicidal in the hospital to what I consider mentally stable. (BTW this took YEARS...😅) I still feel like I am in remission and could get sick again. I watch like crazy for the signs I know so well....because it can creep in slowly...I consider maintaining my mental health no different than my physical health. Neglect it and you can get sick.

Yes. It takes me years too. Actually, I'm still not stable, but damn it, the current state is already much better than the last months.

@Aoi Tallari It can be up and down. I'm having a bit of trouble myself right now. But I'm an experienced warrior with this, I got this. 💪 I just need to stay determined and take care of myself. Anyone who thinks people with mental health issues are weak have no clue what we go through and how much strength it takes to get and stay healthy. Never give up on you. You're worth it! 😉

@Jenny This is extremely accurate. It's like an eternal battle or an endless war that only you can see (well, those who know what you're fighting) I am inspired by your path and experience. Never give up.🙏💛

Damn familiar. And I absolutely agree with you that mental health is as important as physical health. Perhaps even more important. Sorry for answering so late. I was mentally gathering my strength to look into the comments.

Totally unrelated to post 😁 I just looked at your profile and I LOVE your pours. I don't know how to do them...I could probably figure it out easily enough with YouTube...It's definitely on my to do list.

O! I highly recommend. This technique impresses me with its unpredictability. Be sure to try. Most of the work is preparation for it, and the process itself takes a few minutes. The ratio of water and paint is 1 to 1 And if you knead with mediums (you can take a simple pva glue to reduce the cost), then about 2 to 1, where 1 is water.

@Aoi Tallari cool, ty! You need a special medium or something in it for the right consistency I think, don't you? I did a couple bottle pours a few years ago.

@Jenny Simple plastic cups are suitable for kneading. I did not prepare long-term mixtures, as I do not often work with this painting technique.

@Jenny Some styles will also require a hair dryer. Some people use a torch to blow bubbles out of a layer of paint, but I'm wary of using this tool at home, so I bought a blow dryer.

@Jenny https://youtu.be/9eEZmcjY1Uo I read in a book on this technique that it is best to take 2-3 colors, but nothing prevents you from experimenting.

@Aoi Tallari 😲 That's awesome!! The one with just water looks pretty easy. Those ones always make me suspicious....the easier it looks the harder I usually find it. 🤣

@Jenny I understand, I'm the same. This is a good video, but the artist himself is more focused on the spectacle in other videos, and more complicates what can be done more easily and without unnecessary nerves. And thank you very much, I really like this work. Even a small picture. I added some cell silicone to the solutions.
