Question

No--- Life isn't supposed to be school-work-die

It was meant to be thousands of experiences, choices and hard decisions that make it worth living.

Go on that spontaneous drive down to the beach. 
Eat at your favorite restaurants, try new things. 
Take a stab at a new hobby. 
Write a fanfiction and anonymously post it on Wattpad...

We'll all be gone one day so make the most of it.

Go on that drive down to the beach (@$6.99/gallon). Can't work enough OT to afford that. Eat at favorite restaurants, selectively (IE birthday dinner) because all meals are $15.99+ now. Try new things...sure if they're free. Take a stab at a new hobby, if it doesn't have a start up cost for materials etc..when I have NO discretionary income😫😢

I fully agree with you but honestly some people are just meant to be academics. They do spontaneous stuff in their own right within their world... but the sentiment is the same~ stagnation and complacency is ultimately a bad thing and promotes no growth. Live life while also growing as a person (which goes in hand with various life experiences)

I wrote a fan fiction back in high school (& posted ot somewhere.. Dont remember).. Also used to drive in the country roads where there were no lights & before gps on phones.. To purposely get lost.. Then have the adventure getting back home... Ended up in janesville one time.. That was interesting.. Lol

I think about this everyday. So beautiful outside and in stuck generating revenue for my company. I've started travelling and taking a lot more trips to take advantage of what little free time I do have.

Yes, the basis of societal life is school, work, die..
But does anyone even try to remember the things that make life worth living anymore? Now it's all about the next big hate, what can we all hate, the president, a country, a trial.. I remember 9/11: I was in kindergarten, at the top platform of a set of 2 stairs leading inside from the playground, playing beyblades with a girl. I remember every powerful moment no matter how small. We need more of that, life isn't pirely cruelty.
