What's your personal Hell?
I'm an introvert and hate taking risks. I was raised in a relatively strict Christian household, and while I've departed from much of the doctrine, I still identify and believe myself Christian, or at least some form of it. However, it has made navigating the world around me extremely precarious, as I find myself in a sort of position where I exist in a constant state of limbo. I'm find it extremely hard to "break conventions" even though I typically find those conventions worth breaking for the sake of the experience and experiment. Im drawn to people who are wildly different and strange by my curiosity, but my background and my aversion to things that are considered "breaking the rules" gives me cold feet and triggers my anxiety horribly. I want to reach across the table to learn and experience things from different walks of life, but I fear the conflict that could arise from the wildly different points of view and perspectives. I'm stuck in this rut of being desperate for human interaction and connection but utterly disgusted by or terrified of humanity in general.

Balance in conversation and I'm risk averse as well. Can be a bit hyper-rational and a bit of a rambler of boring facts that I find interesting. Trying to only do these things when necessary and adapt to what the other person is all about.

Part of the problem is that humanity is worth being disgusted and terrified by.
