Is there something wrong with me because I don't like horror?

I feel like it's extremely popular nowadays and that I'm kinda expected to like them or at least watch horror movies. But I really don't like it, it's not that it scares me, it's that it makes me uncomfortable in a certain way and I generally find it really unpleasant.

So, just because I’m completely lost, what is a topic that you definitely should try to bring up while flirting with someone? And what is an example of one to stay far far away from?

Well it's more about flattery. the topic should always be the other person, but anything that's funny/gets attention should get the ball rolling. It's kinda like passive/aggressive jokes but laid back and more subtle.
