Do you feel your interests and passions aren't always received well?

Maybe when you show ur movies/show/music around others they make a face or ask wtf is this πŸ˜…

I have learned at work that some people use the codeword "passionate" around me to mean "just give him room; it's not about you; he'll calm down in a minute." I get very excitable at work over certain things. I think to most people, those two words don't belong together. BTW, I'm trying to be more aware of myself now at work. No point scaring people off. 😱

I've learned it's vastly more important to support my partners passions, no matter what they are because it's part of them whether it's my favorite interest or not. And I look for the same. Ultimately I'm far more interested in being with someone who is interested in life and it's many facets than someone who has no passionate interests. I'd also love it if they were passionately into me but that's a whole other matter.
