Don't use your mental illness as an excuse to do horrible things

Hello everyone yes this might be a grey area in some aspects but it has to be said, the people who use their mental illness to justify hurting people need to rethink their actions and reflect on how horrible of a person they are, you can't use depression to justify mentally or physically hurt folks because unlike some of the other mental illnesses out there like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, split personality disorder and others, with depression you can control your actions and have actual moments of thought, and yes I do know what I'm talking about because I suffer from clinical depression and was diagnosed. If you suffer from depression I'm sorry if this struck a nerve with you, but I just wanted to speak my mind and clear my brain.

I 100% agree. People use depression and things like bipolar to do the craziest, meanest stuff to ppl and expect them to stay and forgive them over and over. At some point ppl have to be able to control harming others cause they have issues. It's unacceptable.
