do you pick up the mannerisms/lingo of people you’re closest to? are you aware of them?

Yes quite often, when I’m dating someone. I end up saying some of the quirky little things. One would often say “num num num” when nibbling on things, and “wheee” during moments of motion. So when I was going through one of my surgeries at the time, they slid me from one stretcher to another and I said “wheee”. The nurse said in a serious voice “did you just say wheee?” Then while I was waking up but still half sedated, someone was feeding me ice chips and I was saying “num num num”. That’s something I really love in someone. Being able to be quietly silly, while still being able to handle life responsibilities.

Actually no, maybe just a little bit ....but I have my own personality which is already hard on its own 🤣

Yes to both questions! It's quite fun too when I notice that someone I care about picks up my words/habits hehe

No way. I have my own jargon that usually infects everyone.
