It's strange because I'm all for equality and fair responsibilities across the whole relationship. I don't like if this or that falls to me simply because I'm a man or vice versa. With income it wouldn't stop me from dating or marrying a woman who made more than me. It's a very small factor. But I would feel a bit... lost? Immasculated? Traditionally a man's role was to be the primary breadwinner so if I'm not doing that, what am I doing? She's the pretty one. She makes the money now too. I don't want kids so caregiving isn't in the equation. I would contribute to house chores and bills, we'd share that. I'd feel like a little boy running around with dad who has the money haha. There’s nothing more important than a child having a loving mother to nurture their souls in their early formative years. This determines the soul of the person for the rest of the life pretty much. No money is worth my child growing up with a glowing loving spirit. So for me I would want my wife to put the children as the ultimate priority.
