1moFacts?
I’ve always been fascinated by how quickly our brains can turn a story into a fact. Someone doesn’t text back, and suddenly it’s “they’re losing interest.” Someone seems quiet, and we assume they’re upset. We make dozens of little interpretations every day without realizing how much we’re filling in the blanks ourselves. One question I’ve been trying to ask myself more often is: “What do I actually know, and what am I assuming?” It’s surprisingly good at stopping your brain from writing an entire Netflix drama based on three dots and a delayed reply. 😂 What’s one assumption you’ve learned to stop making about other people?

3.8M SOULS
this is so fckin true, and incredibly well written. another similar thing i find fascinating is how internal most of our shame and embarrassment is; you could spend hours overthinking a detail about your outfit for your date, being embarrassed or insecure about something, and your date doesn’t even end up noticing at all. reminding myself of those things is such an eye opener as well
