Therapy is good. The problem is finding the right therapist fot you. Therapy at its core is just talking to someone, having them listen and then offering some advice or aid. I honestly think Preist who preform confesstions are a type of Theropist. It works for some people, doesn't for others. I recommend trying Therapy but just remember you might need to shop around a bit till you find someone you are comfotable with and is actually helping.

Many people who have tried therapy and don't like it were expecting it to be some kind of magic wand to fix them. Therapy isn't fixing you; it is helping you put in the work to figure out why your brain works like it does and how to make it work for you. But it is work: hard work, uncomfortable work, ugly work, and I am so so glad I am putting in that work because I wouldn't still be here without it.
