I find that very often my messages go unanswered. I'm asking what makes you want to engage more? What causes you to not even begin engaging? What more can be done to increase connections with others?

I have a hard time interacting with people sometimes, so mostly messages with substence and that are engaging me to keep talking is what makes me continue responding. If I'm not getting interest in return or if I feel like I'm the only one trying to make a connection with the other person then I'm just going to stop and let it fall away. No point in forcing a connection. As for what to talk about, it's tough because everyone is different, but interests and common ground usually goes well I think. Being interested in learning about their interests and why they like them. (edited)
