By doing so, they manipulate your emotions to get what they want from you. 4) Creating Confusion: These individuals often twist facts and create confusion to keep you off balance. This tactic makes it harder for you to see through their manipulative behaviors and easier for them to control the situation. 5) Gaslighting: Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation where they make you doubt your memory, perception, or sanity. This tactic is used to maintain control over you and make you reliant on their version of reality. 6) Feigning Innocence: When confronted, manipulative people often play innocent and deny any wrongdoing. They may act surprised or offended, making you question your judgment and feel guilty for accusing them. 7) Exploiting Weaknesses: They identify and exploit your weaknesses to manipulate you. Whether it's your desire for approval, fear of confrontation, or need for support, they use it to their advantage. Being aware of these behaviors can help you recognize and protect yourself from manipulators.
