That's kind of the secret of fulfillment — being grateful for the little things every day. But this kind of negative bias rarely comes out of nowhere. It's usually nurtured into a person's psyche by a figure of authority, be it a parent, a mentor or otherwise. My advice is always the same, make sure to treat the immediate symptoms(bad thoughts), but never neglect the root of your problems. Hope this helped!

I had an ex on here who was like that. Except she couldn't see -anything- positive to be grateful for. It was that positive attitude that drove her away also. We had a huge fight but I got her to begrudgingly admit she did have one good thing in her life that she was grateful for but it was like pulling teeth. Good thing you caught this early and limited it to just a day. You're going to have better. Just know that you will.
