Detachment is numbness, like Alistair says. I think it's not healthy, one of coping mechanism. Meanwhile, non-attachment is good because you just don't expect the result of what you attach to.

I guess it feels like the subject of the detachment is something I intentionally don't let have too much power over my intentions. In other words, I feel like I intend to be independent from the detachment. Too much and I don't feel able to communicate about it, so i try to aim to balance things.
