After years being single, I feel like romantic relationships are overrated. Maybe I’ll change my mind someday? But I feel like I can be myself with my friends, I received a lot of beautiful messages and birthday wishes that really made me think how lucky and thankful I am to have so much genuine love in my life…without a romantic one.

9Io credo che uno dei più grandi e banali errori del pensiero comune della nostra società sia proprio supporre che tra rapporti amicali e romantici ci sia una differenza qualitativa. Io invece sono ormai fermamente convinto che sia quantitativa e che quindi le due "tipologie" di rapporto non occupino diverse nicchie nei bisogni di un individuo.

Interesting concept. Question, are your friends very similar to you or quite different? It’s possible romantic relationships are overrated or too idealistic. Because you want everything all in one. I was thinking of why I’m friends with the people I’m friends with, and it’s almost like each one provides a different aspect or two of life. And when I think of a soulmate, it’s someone that has many many aspects, that I want to embark with.

Je suis d'accord, d'autant plus si tu es Infp, je pense que ce dont tu as besoin chez un partenaire, c'est une vraie intimité émotionnel, qu'on trouve plus facilement chez un ami que chez un partenaire comme on connaît aujourd'hui, je pense dand ce cas, que la relation romantique idéal pour toi, est une relation ou s entremêlé amitié et amour, mais c'est très compliqué de trouver cela, je pense que tu finiras pas tomber dessus, du moins je te le souhaite
