I don't think people who live simply are less driven. I think they're driven by different priorities such as peace, meaningful relationships, and a life that aligns with their values

It depends on the person, there is no formula that answers this question. After achieving my great life goals, I believe that living a simple life is wiser. But until then, living simply is being less motivated.

Simple... Simple in what sense?? Well, if you love deeply, enjoy the good and bad moments, are intense in a good way, seek to help others, challenge yourself day by day in every sense, that for me is wisdom and none of that implies being simple or living simply, so your question in my opinion is too open and poorly founded..

They don't have to be wiser, they just realized that life is simple and people complicate it unnecessarily... And for that, common sense is enough 😀

✨✨✨ Maybe the question isn’t whether people who live simply are wiser or less driven, but what drives us in the first place. There’s a difference between ambition born from curiosity and purpose, and compulsive achievement used to prove our worth or outrun ourselves. A simple life can be avoidance; an ambitious life can be deeply authentic. And vice versa. Perhaps wisdom is knowing the difference. 🪷

🦇The less you think, the simpler everything is.💕 People who live simply are either wiser because they have learned to spend their energy only on what is necessary, or less ambitious because there is nothing to strain for, and they live like animals (eating, reproducing).

Less focused. I couldn't see someone as intelligent if they don't plan what they do or make impulsive decisions.

They are who they are and it's fine how they choose to live, they are wise if they don't compare themselves to others and are happy with what they have. If they are not happy with what they have, that's the issue. There's nothing wrong with living simply.
